Until now, you can watch a variety of alterations and installation of the Google Mobile – Android on different devices. But this time there was something bigger.

One of the talented hackers iPhone, David Wong, was able to install Android on iPhone 2G – it is worth noting that some time ago, Wang launched the Linux on the iPhone. The system can run as an alternative to the iPhone OS using the bootloader.

The following video presents the entire process, including loading the Linux kernel. If you want to immediately see an Apple phone Android in action, scroll to the movie about 3 minutes. Wong presents it to connect to Wi-Fi, web browsing, SMS and call execution. Wong also mentions that in a similar way you can modify the iPhone 3G, but the version would be more likely 3GS problems due to hardware differences.

As the author himself admits the system is only in alpha stage, but the main features work as they should. At present the system operates solely on iPhone’ach first generation (2G), but according to developers porting it to the newer versions should only be a matter of time. Of course, the use of “iDroida” is not very convenient and is generally the only curiosity. But it is a clear signal of this was Apple that users should decide on the software installed on their phones, rather than corporations.
